Redmoor FC Policies

At Redmoor FC we take the ideals of sport - fair play, teamwork, support and enthusiasm - seriously. The coaches and staff commit to ensuring the team has a safe, enjoyable and healthy time with us. In return we ask for respect, commitment and enthusiasm from both players and parents. We have listed on this page our codes of conduct for the staff, players and their families. We ask that everyone reads, understands and adheres to these codes to ensure we maintain our respect for fair play and enjoyment.

A gentle reminder for the sidelines... Last year when the coaches did their FA course, a poem was put on the wall that gave food for thought:

They stand on the field with their hearts beating fast
The whistle has been blown, the die has been cast
Mum and Dad cannot help, they stand all alone
A goal at this moment would send the team home
The ball near their feet, they kick and it misses
There’s a moan from the crowd, some boos and some hisses
A thoughtless voice cries “take off the bum”
Tears fill their eyes, it’s no longer fun
If you’ve ever tempted to shout or groan
Remember it’s a CHILD, who stands all alone
So open your heart, give them a break
It’s moments like this, a player you make
Keep this in mind, please do not forget
They’re only children, not adults yet

 

Anti- Bullying

Redmoor FC players and staff are totally against any and all forms of bullying. All members of our staff will endeavour to help any of our players who is being bullied irrespective of where the bullying is taking place.
