TROPHY WINNERS FOR THE 06/07 SEASON

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER - NATALIE PROSSER
Natalie moved positions part way through the season but returned to her usual position in defence. She has improved greatly and has become one of the major players in the defensive line.

BEST ALL ROUND PERFORMANCE - CHARLOTTE MAWDSLEY
Charlotte has commanded the back four with great commitment throughout the season. This is proven by the 5 Player of the Match awards she has rightly received this season. She has also been consistent throughout each match, saving the team from some very nervous moments!!!

TOP GOALSCORER - ABBI MORRALL
Abbi has scored a total of 19 goals this season ( in fact she actually scored 27 but the killer game where she put 8 away was voided by the League) This gives her an average of one goal every game. We’ve yet to find an opposing player who can keep up with her speed.

CLUB PLAYER OF THE YEAR - BECKY SHARPE
Becky stepped in to take over the role as Goalkeeper when our original was signed up for Birmingham City. We know deep down she hated every minute of it but, when she saved a penalty in her very first match as keeper, we think she enjoyed it just a little bit. She has now returned to play back on pitch but steps in to goal when we need her.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR - PIPPA BURTON
Pippa gives 100% every time she turns out. She motivates the team when they need it but has also been known to tell them off now and again when they don’t perform so well. She has created some great chances for the other players up front and also put a few in the back of the net herself. It is the opinion of the Manager that she is most deserving of this award.

And now, the rest of the team ...

Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls ... we give you Redmoor FC !!

Some messages from the Redmoor FC people ...

The coaches and committee want to say well done to all the award winners. Congratulations to all five of you !
Not forgetting though, that it's a team effort that made us what we are and helped us to finish a very respectable fifth position in the league.
Well done to all the girls. Thank you for your effort, hard work and commitment. Good luck for next season.
From Phill, Paul, Simon, Alison, Ade, George, Claire & Trudi.

To our sponsors and hosts: We all want to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you! Without the help, support and funding of all the sponsors we couldn't have had the team and coaches kitted out so professionally and trained with real resources. There would have been nowhere to train and play ... and right now, you wouldn't be sitting reading this web site !! THANK YOU ALL !!
From All of us at Redmoor FC

And last, but by no means least to the families and friends of Redmoor FC. Week in, week out, whatever the weather our families and friends turn out to cheer the team on. It's the pitchside support and cheering that is the icing on the cake. Keep cheering, keep clapping. Keep spurring us on after the missed goal, keep giving us a hug after a defeat. Keep moaning about mud in the cars, smelly boots and clogged up washing machines. Most of all though ... KEEP COMING !
To all the mums, dads, brothers, sisters, friends cousins et al ... please accept if you would, the Redmoor FC Three Cheers !!!
From all of us at Redmoor FC
